Texas Analysis of Findings and Reporting Module
The purpose of this course is to create a 20-hour education course on the proper way inspectors can identify and report on issues within the home. This course will specifically focus on ways inspectors can inform and describe issues to their clients. Completion of this module will help inspectors meet their licensing education requirements.
Throughout this course, inspectors will look at ways they can inform and describe issues to their clients by looking at common issues found in the following systems:
- Exterior.
- Roofing.
- Plumbing.
- Electrical.
The course also features quizzes after or throughout each lesson that are designed to provide a practical knowledge of the systems reviewed in this module.
Texas Business Operations and Professional Responsibilities Module
Some of the most common questions in the inspection industry surround the topic of preinspection agreements. This entire course will focus on the ethics and business side of inspection. The purpose of this course is to create 10-hours of instruction in business operations and professional responsibilities that inspectors can take to meet their licensing education requirements. In general, this course will provide inspectors with an overview of the different types of business entities within the inspection industry and will discuss the legal responsibilities of inspectors. In detail, the topics of preinspection agreements, conflicts of interest, and financial protection will be addressed throughout this course.
The course also features quizzes after each lesson that are designed to provide practical knowledge of the topics discussed in that lesson. At the end of this course, a final exam will review the topics discussed throughout the entire course.
Texas Law Module
The purpose of this course is to provide 40 hours of qualifying education on Property and Building inspection that inspector professionals can take to meet their licensing education requirements. This course dives into the areas of site conditions, exterior components, roof components, structural components, interior components, permanently installed kitchen appliances and fireplaces, fuel-burning appliances and their chimney vent systems.
The course features quizzes throughout select lessons and at the end of every lesson that are designed to produce practical knowledge of Texas Law for inspector professionals.
Texas Property and Building Inspection Module I
The purpose of this course is to provide 40 hours of qualifying education on Property and Building inspection that inspector professionals can take to meet their licensing education requirements. This course dives into the areas of site conditions, exterior components, roof components, structural components, interior components, permanently installed kitchen appliances and fireplaces, fuel-burning appliances and their chimney vent systems.

Texas Property and Building Inspection Module II
The purpose of this course is to create a 40-hour education course on the remaining systems that are listed under module II of the property and building inspection section. Completion of this module will help inspectors meet their licensing education requirements.
This course will provide inspectors in-depth knowledge of each system as follows:
- Electrical Systems.
- Cooling Systems.
- Heating Systems.
- Insulation, Moisture Management Systems & Ventilation Systems in Conditioned & Unconditioned Spaces.
- Plumbing Systems.
- Mechanical Exhaust Systems.
- Optional Systems.
The course also features quizzes after or throughout each lesson that are designed to provide a practical knowledge of the systems reviewed in this module.
Texas Standards of Practice Module
The purpose of this course is to create a 24-hour education course on the Texas Standards of Practice (SOPs) that inspectors can take to meet their licensing education requirements.
This course will provide inspectors in-depth knowledge of each system that is discussed in the Standards of Practice. The systems covered by the Standards of Practice are as follows:
- Structural.
- Electrical.
- Heating.
- Ventilation.
- Cooling.
- Plumbing.
- Appliances.
- Optional Systems.
Each system includes material on Texas unique reporting requirements and Texas exclusions to the Standards of Practice.
