This course will specifically focus on ways inspectors can inform and describe issues to their clients. Completion of this module will help inspectors meet their licensing education requirements.

Throughout this course, inspectors will look at ways they can inform and describe issues to their clients by looking at common issues found in the following systems:

• Exterior.
• Roofing.
• Plumbing.
• Electrical.

The course also features quizzes after or throughout each lesson that are designed to provide a practical knowledge of the systems reviewed in this module.

Some of the most common questions in the inspection industry surround the topic of preinspection agreements. This entire course will focus on the ethics and business side of inspection. This course will provide inspectors in-depth knowledge of each system that is discussed in the Standards of Practice. The systems covered by the Standards of Practice are as follows:

• Structural.
• Electrical.
• Heating.
• Ventilation.
• Cooling.
• Plumbing.
• Appliances.
• Optional Systems.

Each system includes material on Texas unique reporting requirements and Texas exclusions to the Standards of Practice.
